Trip Prep: Bob Marshall Wilderness, MT
Well, it’s a few days until I hit the road to Montana! Final preparations are coming fast, and that includes some permits and equipment specific to this trip.
Permits
The receipt pretty much sums it up! Permits can be found here on Montana’s Fish, Wildlife, and Park page.
Bear Prevention
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex requires all food to be “stored in a bear resistant manner”, We plan to use both a bear can and an UrSak because we have 1 of each already. Bear spray isn’t required, but we carry it for Grizzly Country.
